Motlow Hub Login

 

 

To log into the Motlow Hub, head over to https://sso.mscc.edu and log in with your Motlow State Email and Temporary Password.

MotlowHUB - Username

Your email address is generally in the style of first name initial + last name + two-digit birth month + two-digit birth date, followed by @mscc.edu. If a system asks for a username, you can leave out the @mscc.edu portion.

MotlowHUB - First-Time Password

Your first-time password is in the style of your three-character birth month (with the first character capitalized) + pound (#) + the four-digit year of your birthdate + pound (#) + the last four digits of your social security number.

International Students / Students Without an SSN On File

If you are an international student or otherwise do not have a social security number on file, the last four digits in your password will be your Motlow State A number.

New Password Requirements

Password requirements at Motlow State apply to all accounts and must meet certain requirements. Passwords must be at least eight (8) characters long and contain at least three of the following four-character types:

  • An uppercase letter (e.g., "A", "B", "C")
  • A lowercase letter (e.g., "a", "b", "c")
  • A numeric digit (e.g., "1", "2", "3")
  • A special character (e.g., "!", "@", "#")

    Additionally, passwords should not match any of the following scenarios:

  • Your username cannot be a part of your password.
  • It's highly discouraged to have your first name or last name as a part of your password.
  • Sequential patterns should not be a part of your password and are highly discouraged. (e.g., "abcdef", "12345", "qwerty")

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application, online account, or a VPN.

The MotlowHUB offers different methods of mufti-factor authentication. A brief description of each option is below.

Okta Verify - Use the Okta Verify app on Android or iOS. (Technical Operations highly recommends this option.)

Google Authenticator -Use the Google Authenticator app on Android or iOS as an additional factor.

SMS Authentication- Use your phone number and receive an SMS message with a one-time code as an additional factor.

Voice Call Authentication - Use your phone number and receive a phone call with a one-time code as an additional factor.

Motlow A#

Your Motlow A# can be found on your conditional Acceptance (Welcome) Letter sent to your personal email from admissions and records or in your MyMotlow Account under the personal information tab. If you cannot find it, please email support@mscc.edu with your Full Name, DOB, telephone number, and a picture of a valid government-issued photo ID so we can verify the information and send the correct Motlow A#.

Resetting Your Password

To reset your password, the preferred method is to go to https://sso.mscc.edu/signin/forgot-password and follow the prompts to have your password reset. However, if you are unable to follow the prompts, you will need to contact IT Support Help desk at 931-393-1510 or email support@mscc.edu with your Motlow A#.

MyMotlow

Once logged into Motlow Hub click on the MyMotlow app to access your MyMotlow Account.

  • View your GPS report
  • Complete forms and applications
  • Register for classes
  • View your schedule
  • Pay fees
  • Check your grades
